We wanted to highlight some exciting Completion by Design (CBD) work.
CBD college practitioners now have four years of integrated pathways reform work under their belts and a wealth of on-the-ground experience with design and implementation. We have also developed tools and resources that help colleges restructure and connect the components of a successful pathway and build the institutional culture and capacity needed to support such comprehensive transformation.
CBD Integrated Pathways Workshop
Join CBD for an all-day workshop. Informed by the work of CBD, Achieving the Dream, and other national experts and drawing on these new tools and resources, CBD college practitioners will lead an all-day session for colleges considering or already engaged in integrated pathways design. Participate with your college team at DREAM 2016, Achieving the Dream's Annual Institute on Student Success at an all-day workshop in Atlanta. Implementing Integrated Pathways: What, When, Why and How- Advice from the Trenches
Tuesday, February 23, 2016 9:00am-4:00pm
Nine community colleges in three states have worked under the Completion by Design (CBD) umbrella to transform the way they deliver academic and support services to increase student success, retention and completion. They simultaneously created integrated, guided pathways to improve student outcomes, and built institutional culture/capacity to sustain their work. The CBD colleges are now ready to share their stories—what worked and what didn’t--with other practitioners interested in implementing guided pathways.
The CBD work builds on the strong foundation of ATD and, complements the recently announced AACC Pathways Institute by broadening the distribution of experience and learning to the field.
